Muraho!
Sorry it has taken so long to update. We haven’t had many chances to access the internet the past few days, but we certainly have been busy.
Tuesday was spent out in the field with various World Relief Staff members at three different locations throughout Rwanda.
One group went to help World Relief’s Child Survival program build water filters north of Kigali. Quite a bit of hard work, but worth every bit when they had the chance to personally deliver the filters to homes in the area.
The other teams went out to see World Relief’s Mobilize For Life programs, which focuses on HIV/AIDS prevention. World Relief works with local churches to help carry out all their humanitarian work, and they have organized groups of pastors that span all the denominations in Rwanda to work together to combat the problems they are facing. We had a chance to meet these committees and ask them questions, and it was certainly an educational experience.
We’ll be updating more in the coming days! Thanks for following along and for your prayers!
